Caritas Internationalis and World Council of Churches are holding a public discussion on a “Renew the face of the Earth: Faith-based Approach to Climate Justice” at the UN Summit in Copenhagen.
It’s being co-sponsored by Church of Sweden, Church World Service, National Council of Churches Denmark, Asian Muslim Action Network and CIDSE.
It will take place December 14, 2009 Bella Center, Room 4 – 11.00-12.30.
Caritas Internationalis and World Council of Churches will bring ethical principles and the voice of faith to the climate change negotiations.
The Session will examine various faith-based perspectives on policies and action promoting climate justice.
The moderator will be Jann Sjursen Secretary General of Caritas Denmark
